Tuesdays, 2:00 – 2:50 PM EST, January – April (Calendar)
SYNOPSIS:
U. S. History II is a continuation of U. S. History I (a required prerequisite). It includes this:
- A Christian/pro-limited government view
- Key persons, events, movements, terms, and concepts involving U. S. History
- Audio-Visuals – Historical photos, paintings, television clips, radio broadcasts, political cartoons, and government propaganda posters and films
Students review many important ideas, persons, movements, and events in U. S. History II, including World War I, the Great Depression, the “New Deal,” World War II, communism and the Cold War, the civil rights movement, and modern presidencies. Students also complete a reading/writing project based upon many twentieth-century primary source documents.
